Delete your Forge account
You can permanently delete your Forge account and every piece of data we hold about you, at any time, in two ways:
1. From inside the Forge app (recommended)
- Open the Forge app on your Android device.
- Go to the Me tab.
- Tap the gear icon (top-right) to open Settings.
- Scroll to the ACCOUNT section.
- Tap Delete account and confirm twice.
Deletion is immediate. The app returns you to the start screen and all locally stored data is wiped from your device.
2. By email (no app install needed)
Send an email from the address associated with your Forge account (or, if you used Forge anonymously, any email you can reach us at) to:
Use the subject line Delete my Forge account. Include:
- The Google account email you used (if any)
- Approximate last active date
We process every request within 30 days, almost always within 48 hours. You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.
What we delete
- Profile — gender, age, height, weight, fitness level, equipment access, goal.
- Workout history — every set you've logged, every plan you've started, every streak.
- Food scans — every photo you scanned, every macro entry, every saved meal.
- AI Coach history — your full chat transcript with the coach.
- Body stats — weight log, body-fat estimates, BMI history, progress photo references.
- Identifiers — your anonymous device ID and, if used, your linked Google account email.
What stays
- Active subscriptions. Forge Premium is managed by Google Play, not by us. Deleting your account here does not cancel an active subscription. To cancel, open Google Play → Subscriptions and cancel manually before deleting your account, or your card will continue to be charged on the renewal date.
- Anonymized aggregate metrics. If a workout you logged contributed to anonymous totals (e.g. "users completed X workouts this week" displayed in marketing material) those aggregate numbers stay; nothing in them can be linked back to you.
- Crash + diagnostic logs. Sentry retains crash reports for 90 days for stability monitoring. These are scrubbed of personal data on collection, but if the email signal identified you in any of them, we'll remove those events as part of the deletion.
